We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children.

Become an intern, a docent for our educational programs, help us build support and awareness, or take part in one of our community awareness events.

Volunteer Opportunities

Redbud Educational Docent
DocentDocents are a special group of volunteers who represent the Colorado River Foundation and the Redbud Center and serve the public. Docents lead student field excursions through our beautiful Redbud park facilities. "Teachable moments" and hands-on experiments educate students about important water concepts, teach the importance of conservation, and increase stewardship of the Colorado River. (Opportunity available Tuesday through Friday during regular business hours. We ask for a 4 hour commitment a minimum of 2 times a month)

We provide docents with an extensive and exciting training, enabling volunteers to become Redbud Center ambassadors. Docents must first complete a volunteer application, pass a background check, and attend our docent training.
