Internship Opportunity: Communications

This is an in-depth internship opportunity to help plan and execute vital communications activities for the Colorado River Alliance. The river is our community’s heart and soul, and this position is a great opportunity to ensure its vibrance and vitality. The qualified candidate will assist the Director of Outreach & Operations in a variety of activities focused on nonprofit communications. Our interns gain comprehensive training, professional development consultations with staff, networking and resume-building opportunities, and a $250 stipend upon completion of a successful internship.

Location:  CRA Office (3625 Lake Austin Blvd Austin, TX 78703) 

Hours: Flexible between business hours. Minimum commitment of 12 hours/week. A few evening and weekend hours may be required for events or other activities.

  • Graphic Design
  • Also assist with database entry and other tasks as needed

  • Qualifications: 
  • Be working on or have completed a bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Solid teamwork skills and ability to work solo
  • Experience with Wordpress and graphic design skills a plus
