Trash Free Gulf: Lake Austin Paddleboard Cleanup

The Colorado River Alliance River Society and Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation’s Stewards of the Wild are joining forces to clean our waters.

On May 17th, the River Society and Stewards in the Wild will meet at Mozart’s Coffee Roasters and set out on paddleboards to remove trash and debris directly from the Texas Colorado River. The Lake Austin Paddleboard Cleanup is participating in Trash Free Gulf – an initiative to remove trash and debris from parks, creeks, rivers, and lakes throughout Texas to protect our Gulf.

Thank you to our cleanup partner, Mozart’s Coffee Roasters and Lake Austin Calm, for generously providing paddleboard rentals for this important effort to remove trash and raise awareness for our state’s precious resources!
