Summer Institute for Educators
This June, Colorado River Alliance celebrates 20 years of the highly successful Groundwater to the Gulf (G2G) program. G2G is a free summer institute providing Central Texas educators with critical continuing education credits (CECs) while on a firsthand journey from Central Texas to the Gulf.
This year’s program takes place over four days, June 9-12, and two sites, Austin and Palacios. Along with critical CECs required by their profession, educators leave with a toolbox full of TEKS-aligned resources ready for their classrooms and meaningful relationships with youth environmental education experts.
“You all are investing in me, so then I’m able to give more to my students. That’s really special.”
— Jason R., 2025 participant
Groundwater to the Gulf connects educators to the people, places, and waterways that shape the Texas Colorado River basin. When you support educators, you reach thousands of students.
